Senior Dosimetrist

Job Summary:

WellSpan Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior Dosimetrist to join our Oncology Services team in Franklin County. As a key member of our radiation therapy team, you will be responsible for performing advanced dosimetry duties, including treatment planning, protection, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Consult with physicians on patient treatment plans

Assist and advise during patient simulation and treatment processes

View imaging modalities (CT, MRI, PET) to simulate patient conditions and identify critical organ positions

Determine radiation doses and areas of exposure

Perform quality assurance for treatment planning systems

Requirements:

Associates degree in a related field (bachelor's degree preferred)

3 years of relevant experience in radiation therapy

Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) certification

Proficiency in computer dosimetry and radiation therapy software
