Oncology Specialist

Coryell Health is seeking an experienced Oncology Specialist to provide high-quality care to patients with cancer and blood disorders.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients with cancer and blood disorders

Prescribe chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormone therapy, and other medications to treat cancer

Educate patients and families on treatment options, side effects, and prognosis

Monitor patient progress through follow-up appointments and testing

Coordinate care with surgeons, radiologists, nurses, and other specialists

Participate in tumor boards to review complex cases

Keep current on latest advancements in oncology through continuing education

Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary care team

Requirements:

Medical degree from an accredited medical school

Board certification in Medical Oncology

Active medical license in the state of Texas

Excellent diagnostic, treatment planning, and communication skills

Compassionate bedside manner and commitment to patient-centered care
