Coryell Health is seeking an Oncologist to join our care team in Gatesville, TX. 

Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and develop treatment plans for patients with cancer and blood disorders

- Prescribe chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormone therapy, and other medications to treat cancer

- Educate patients and families on treatment options, side effects, and prognosis

- Monitor patient progress through follow-up appointments and testing

- Coordinate care with surgeons, radiologists, nurses, and other specialists

- Participate in tumor boards to review complex cases

- Keep current on latest advancements in oncology through continuing education

- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary care team

Requirements:

- Medical degree from an accredited medical school

- Board certification in Medical Oncology

- Active medical license in the state of Texas

- Excellent diagnostic, treatment planning, and communication skills

- Compassionate bedside manner and commitment to patient-centered care
