Description
Type: Adjunct, Online
Job Responsibilities:
- Teach Introductory Courses: Deliver engaging and interactive face-to-face or online instruction in introductory French courses, fostering a deep understanding of the language and its cultural context.
- Promote Cultural Understanding: Integrate cultural elements into the curriculum to enhance students' appreciation and understanding of the French-speaking world, its history, and its people.
- Provide Timely Feedback: Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their language learning journey, helping them to improve and reach their full potential.
Required Materials:
CV, transcripts, cover letter, and three references.
Qualifications:
- Advanced Degree: Ph.D. preferred. A master's or doctoral degree in French or a related field with at least 18 credits in Philosophy.
- Demonstrated Proficiency in Online Teaching: Familiarity with educational technologies and the ability to effectively utilize them to create engaging online learning experiences.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
