We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist II to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our operating room team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain aseptic surgical environments, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during procedures, providing expert support and technical expertise.
  • Operate and maintain complex medical equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to develop and implement effective surgical plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Surgical Technologist role, with a strong background in aseptic surgical techniques.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with the ability to obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
