Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of exceptional medical services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and develop individualized plans of care to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Participate in continuous performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Manage acute cardiac care patients and invasive lines, including carotid and femoral surgeries, and provide appropriate interventions and therapies.

Requirements

  • Current state RN license
  • Associates or bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
  • ACLS Certification
  • One year acute cardiovascular care experience or other comparable nursing experience
  • ASLS certification preferred
