  • Intake Interviews and Orientation: Conduct intake interviews with new admissions, ensuring they are oriented and welcomed to the program.
  • Medication Monitoring and Documentation: Monitor and document self-administration of medication, following MMRS medication monitoring policies.
  • Communication and Documentation: Communicate and document all medical and pharmaceutical issues to MMRS's Medical Director and client's primary care physician.
  • Job-Related Paperwork and Documentation: Maintain all job-related paperwork and documentation required by agency policies and licensing requirements.
  • Staff Development and Training: Participate in ongoing staff development activities, including weekly staff meetings and technical in-service events.
  • Cultural Competency and Interaction: Interact with staff, clients, and community members demonstrating cultural competency, respect, dignity, and integrity.
  • Transportation and Errands: Provide transportation and run errands as assigned, ensuring vehicle cleanliness and reporting any deficiencies to maintenance coordinator.
Qualifications:
  • Education and Experience: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent and valid Michigan Driver's License. Requires safe driving record and background check. College credit hours in social work or a related human services field is preferred with at least one year of experience in a human services field and a demonstrated knowledge of substance use disorders desired.
  • Availability and Flexibility: Employees will work 0-19 hours per week, with hours not guaranteed. Relief positions require at least one weekend and one weekday shift available weekly and must be available to work on a MMRS observed holiday.
