Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Automotive Equipment Operator to join our team at the Parking, Towing and Abandoned Vehicles Unit of the Department of Public Works. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating automotive equipment to tow and transport vehicles, while ensuring the safety of yourself and others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a variety of automotive equipment, including tow trucks and recovery vehicles.
  • Transport vehicles to designated locations, including storage facilities and impound lots.
  • Secure crime scene vehicles and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform light or heavy physical labor as needed, including lifting and carrying equipment.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a valid driver's license and a strong understanding of automotive equipment operation. You will also need to be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
