Position Summary: As a Culinary Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our food service operations. This position involves overseeing various culinary tasks, including planning, ordering, inventory management, and food preparation. You will be expected to uphold the highest standards of food quality, freshness, and presentation while adhering to health regulations and company guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination and execution of food preparation and cooking processes.
- Collaborate in menu planning and development.
- Implement new culinary initiatives alongside the marketing and culinary teams.
- Support cost management efforts and monitor expenditures.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant culinary experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Experience in various food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, or healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of food trends, quality standards, sanitation, safety protocols, and cost control measures.
- Ability to prepare and distribute production schedules.
- Proven leadership, training, and coaching skills.
- ServSafe or Department of Health Certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly MS Office Suite.
- An Associate's degree in Culinary Arts is preferred.
