Job Title: Veterinarian, Medical Supervisor CARE

About the Role:

As a Veterinarian, Medical Supervisor CARE, you will be responsible for providing medical care to a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, and other small animals. You will work closely with our team of veterinary professionals to ensure that all animals receive the highest level of care and attention. Your duties will include:

  • Providing medical care to animals, including exams, vaccinations, and treatments
  • Leading a team of veterinary professionals to ensure that all animals receive the highest level of care and attention
  • Developing and implementing medical protocols and procedures to ensure the health and well-being of all animals
  • Collaborating with other departments, including shelter operations and community outreach, to ensure that all animals receive the care and attention they need
  • Providing training and education to veterinary professionals on medical procedures and protocols
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary program
  • At least 3 years of experience in a veterinary setting, preferably in a shelter or animal welfare organization
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Passion for animal welfare and a commitment to providing high-quality medical care
