Credit Policy Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Policy Officer to join our team at City National Bank. As a key member of our Credit Policy and Risk Management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing credit policies and procedures that align with our bank's risk management framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain credit policies and procedures that align with our bank's risk management framework
- Conduct analysis and research on credit policy issues and recommend changes to senior management
- Collaborate with the Credit Portfolio Risk Department to create reports for the Board of Directors and RBC management
- Interpret trend data on the portfolio with regard to asset quality trends and the correlation of policy exceptions to overall portfolio performance
- Support the development of analytics and advanced visualization to assist with portfolio credit risk surveillance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related field
- 7 years of experience in a banking environment, with a focus on credit risk management and regulatory supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to small groups
- Ability to work with all levels of line and corporate management
