Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles in accordance with company standards. You will perform inspections, identify mechanical issues, and ensure that all necessary repairs are completed efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities
  • Perform road tests for diagnosis of clients' complaints and verification of repair;
  • Perform other duties as assigned;
  • Work as a team with the Service Advisors to communicate clients' vehicle needs;
  • Attend manufacturer-specific training classes;
  • Perform line technician services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, and full automotive troubleshooting and testing;
  • Continuously expand your knowledge of new technologies and practices;
  • Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment;
  • Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
Requirements
  • Great mechanical, diagnostic, and electrical skills;
  • Basic computer skills necessary to use factory software;
  • Valid Driver's License;
  • Ford certifications preferred;
  • Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve;
  • Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination;
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment;
  • Missouri State Inspection License required;
  • B-level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair;
  • ASE Certification required;
  • Ford certification required (or the ability to obtain Ford certification);
  • Team member with ability to collaborate with others effectively;
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic environment;
  • Must have own tools.
