Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 per year
Job Description
As an Executive Chef at The Heritage of Twin Creeks, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious and nutritious meals to our senior residents. This role involves following proper food safety and sanitation procedures, as well as maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Your Day as a Chef
You will start your day by reviewing the menu and preparing ingredients for meals according to dietary guidelines and recipes. You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely meal preparation and service to our residents. Additionally, you will assist in inventory management and kitchen equipment maintenance to support efficient operations.
Requirements
- Prior cooking experience of at least one year is preferred.
- Basic computer skills for recipe management and inventory tracking are essential.
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English is required for effective communication within the kitchen team and with residents.
- A passion for culinary arts, creativity in menu planning, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation are key to success in this position.
