About the Role

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Lynwood, California.

This is a unique opportunity for a Rehabilitation Professional to make a meaningful impact on patient care and develop their expertise in physical therapy.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement effective physical therapy treatment programs that meet the needs of patients with various conditions, including neurology, pediatrics, women's health, lymphedema, vestibular conditions, and in-patient care.
  • Evaluate patients' conditions, assess their progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to staff and students on physical therapy techniques and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, research, and evidence-based practices to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in Physical Therapy (BS, MS, DPT, or PhD) from an approved institution.
  • California Physical Therapist License required at hire. Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association also required at hire.
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI) required at hire.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
  • Bored eligible to sit for Physical Therapy exam; pass within 90 days of hire if PTLA.
  • Fire Safety certification required for hires in City of LA.
