About the Role

We're offering a 12-hour night shift position, with a competitive salary of $120-$150 per hour, depending on experience. As a Critical Care Nurse Specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families in the NICU.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care for neonates and their families.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying potential risks and complications, and develop strategies to prevent or mitigate them.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and use medical equipment safely and effectively.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current RN license in the state of California.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a critical care setting.
  • Knowledge of neonatal intensive care unit principles and practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team.
