Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will work one-on-one with children and families with autism to implement learning programs, collect data on target behaviors, communicate with stakeholders, maintain client confidentiality, and regularly meet with their direct leader.

About the Role:
  • Work in a family-home environment, providing one-on-one developmental and behavioral support to children with autism.
  • Partner with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans.
  • Use evidence-based techniques to engage actively with children, including physical activity and exercises.
  • Work with children who may exhibit physical and mental behaviors that require adaptability and patience.

Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with children ages 0-18 years in a daycare or classroom setting.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working one-on-one with clients in a behavioral health environment.
  • A passion for helping children with autism and making a real difference in their lives.
  • Patience and compassion with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test (if not already completed within the past year).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
