We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at HealthPartners. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform various clinical and administrative tasks to support patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and charting.
- Prepare exam rooms and equipment for patient exams and procedures.
- Assist with medical procedures and interventions, as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and charts.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; LPN, MA, RMA, or CMA certification preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
