We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL driver to join our team at Waste Pro. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring that all refuse is collected and transferred properly, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a refuse collection vehicle on pre-assigned routes to collect garbage, yard waste, and recycling.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and ensure that all refuse is collected and transferred properly.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including performing daily pre- and post-trip inspections and completing safety reports.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Comply with all Department of Transportation and State requirements for operators of commercial motor vehicles.
- Class A or B CDL valid for the state in which the position works.
- At least 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to hear and see in the normal audio and visual range.
- Ability to lift and push/pull independently 50 pounds between 800 and 1000 times a day.
- Ability to work 8 to 12 hours in extreme weather conditions.
As a Residential Driver, you will work in a variety of environment conditions, including wide temperature and weather variations, noise and vibrations, fumes, odors, and dust. You will also be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities.
