Senior .Net Software Engineer

Position Overview:

Infosys is seeking a Lead .Net Developer. In this role, you will engage with essential stakeholders and leverage your technical expertise throughout various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle. This includes gathering requirements, defining application architecture, and crafting design specifications. You will play a pivotal role in producing high-level design documentation, delivering quality code outputs for specific modules, and overseeing validation processes for all testing types. Additionally, you will support activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively with business teams to translate business needs into technical specifications.
  • Engage with multiple stakeholders on-site, including Database Administrators, Infrastructure teams, Network teams, and Architecture groups.
  • Contribute to a culture of learning where teamwork and collaboration are prioritized, excellence is acknowledged, and diversity is embraced.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be located within a reasonable commuting distance or be open to relocation.
  • A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required. Consideration will also be given to candidates with three years of progressive experience in the field in lieu of each year of education.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • At least 8 years of hands-on experience with .Net Technologies.
  • Proficient in connecting with business teams to convert business requirements into technical requirements.
  • Experience interacting with various stakeholders, including DBA, Infrastructure, Network, Business, and Architecture teams.
  • U.S. citizens and authorized workers are encouraged to apply; sponsorship is not available at this time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience in application development and support.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, Advanced SQL, Stored Procedures, and Database design.
  • Basic understanding of Design patterns.
  • Familiarity with DevOps processes and technologies (e.g., Jenkins, Cloud, Terraform).
  • Able to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
  • Exposure to Agile project execution methodologies is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience and enthusiasm for working in a Global delivery environment.
