Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis will play a key role in supporting the VP Finance Operations and senior leadership by developing and implementing financial plans to increase the company's efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain planning and budgeting processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

  • Prepare financial reports, including analysis and interpretation of financial position, and make recommendations to the CFO, Management Team, and Board of Directors.
  • Direct studies, including presentation of findings and recommendations affecting the business' financial status, including the exploration of financial impacts of future business opportunities.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial analyses, communication, ongoing monitoring, and evaluation to the enterprise to aid in decision-making to improve financial performance.
  • Design, develop, and utilize sophisticated financial models, lead complex analyses for enterprise-scale projects, and benchmark and monitor financial targets and metrics against external data.
  • Serve as a trusted finance business partner to senior leaders at an executive level for the corporate functions, advising and steering business decisions regarding financial impact and overall business health.
  • Build strong relationships with clients' senior leadership and the rest of the team to act as a trusted financial advisor, leading and preparing the annual financial budget, recurring forecast, and long-range financial plan, and recommending courses of action to achieve business team goals and ensure profitable operations consistent with sound business management.
  • Analyze business performance, create insights, and drive action to continuously improve the business, creating action plans and dashboards for business teams and executive leadership, developing, recommending, and implementing business performance improvement initiatives to measurably enhance business profitability and working capital levels.
  • Lead as a subject matter expert and governance leader on end-to-end planning and forecasting processes, supporting financial planning, reporting, and analytical processes, data, and solutions, developing and standardizing financial reports and master data entry.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics, MBA a plus.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, including exposure in operational finance, P&L accountability, financial planning and analysis, sales finance, business development, and strategy within a larger manufacturing company.
  • Financial, sales, and business analytics/reporting required, Salesforce and NetSuite experience preferred, Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
