Overview

MRG Exams, a leading provider of independent medical exams, is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team as an Independent Contractor. This unique opportunity allows you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of United States Veterans while enjoying the flexibility of telehealth work.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

Job Description

We are looking for a Licensed Psychologist with excellent assessment and communication skills to perform disability assessments on Veterans. As part of the VA's benefits process, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and conduct comprehensive assessments in person. Your role will involve completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal, but you will not be responsible for making disability determinations. The Veterans Administration makes all decisions based on your findings.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Review electronic medical records of 4 Veterans per day, on average
  • Conduct in-person assessments, with 3 Fridays/month requiring in-person presence
  • Complete DBQs through the Web Portal

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Hold an active and unrestricted Psychology license
  • Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA
  • Have graduated from an APA-accredited program or school
