Mercy Medical Group, a leading multi-specialty healthcare organization in the Sacramento region, is seeking an exceptional Occupational Medicine Physician to join our team at the Midtown Clinic in Sacramento, CA.

This dynamic role offers a unique blend of clinical expertise, patient-centered care, and collaboration with our experienced healthcare professionals. As an Occupational Medicine Physician, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based medical treatment for work-related injuries, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions for our patients.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent diagnostic and communication skills, with experience in worker compensation services and specific note reporting. A strong background in occupational medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or emergency medicine is essential, along with a deep understanding of DOT certification requirements.

We offer a competitive salary range of $110.00 - $117.00 per hour, as well as a shareholder track opportunity, generous compensation, and benefits package, including bonus eligibility.

Your Responsibilities

Patient Care:

  • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions with compassion and expertise.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.

Communication:

  • Foster effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Provide clear, concise medical information, addressing patient concerns and questions.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records, adhering to coding and billing regulations.
  • Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans to ensure transparency and continuity of care.

Diagnostic Procedures:

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, to inform treatment decisions.
  • Perform procedures as needed, collaborating with specialists when necessary.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to share knowledge and best practices.
