Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead our occupational health team at Agile Occupational Medicine. In this role, you will oversee the development and implementation of medical policies and programs that prioritize efficient, responsible, and accountable healthcare for businesses, industries, and patients.

Responsibilities
  • Leverage your expertise in occupational medicine to drive clinical excellence and efficiency across our centers.
  • Collaborate with therapists and specialists to optimize case outcomes and expedite closure.
  • Supervise clinicians and support staff, ensuring compliance with all supervisory physician requirements.
  • Maintain a professional and collaborative working environment that promotes teamwork, quality, and patient safety.
  • Work closely with medical leadership to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that enhance our services.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited medical program with a M.D. or D.O. and an unrestricted medical license in the state where employed.
  • Board certification or eligibility in ABPM, ABFM, AOA, or a medical board in the state where employed.
  • BLS and AED certified; ACLS preferred.
  • NRCME certified (DOT Medical Examiner).
  • DEA required.
  • 5-8 years of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency settings.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated knowledge of occupational medicine requirements, including state-specific regulations.
  • Familiarity with clinical operations, OSHA, DOT, and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Ability to diagnose and treat human injuries, as well as administer and manage clinical staff.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care.
  • Proficiency in reviewing clinical work according to professional standards and practice guidelines.
  • Experience in coaching, instructing, and teaching staff members.
