Position Overview

We are looking for dedicated and nurturing individuals to engage with young children aged three to four years. Previous experience in early childhood education is essential. Familiarity with or a willingness to learn about NAEYC and Connecticut State Licensing Standards is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend all mandatory training sessions.
  • Obtain certification in First Aid (CT Childcare) and CPR, or be willing to pursue certification.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and children.

Being a team player with excellent interpersonal skills is crucial. Additionally, proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish is considered an advantage.

Work Schedule: Full year/Part-Time and Full-Time positions are available, Monday through Friday. Enjoy a complimentary YMCA Membership.
