Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Arden Courts ProMedica Memory Care Monroeville is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a staff LPN, you will be responsible for providing direct care to residents and supervising nursing personnel to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Job Summary:

The LPN position is a staff position that requires direct care responsibilities as well as supervisor responsibility for caregivers. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating care delivery, ensuring that resident needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice, physician orders, facility policies, and federal, state, and local guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise nursing personnel to deliver nursing care
  • Coordinate care delivery to ensure resident needs are met
  • Read and interpret thermometers, charts, and testing equipment
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of clinical experience
  • Gerontological nursing experience, including dementia population, preferred
  • Valid and current LPN/LVN state license
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
  • Ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 20 pounds, unassisted
