Job Summary:
Reynolds Community College is seeking a part-time adjunct teaching faculty member to teach Biology or Anatomy and Physiology courses. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Biology or Anatomy and Physiology or a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Biology or Anatomy and Physiology. Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Biology or Anatomy and Physiology courses to students at the college level.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning and success.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Biology or Anatomy and Physiology or a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester hours in Biology or Anatomy and Physiology.
  • Related occupational experience or teaching experience in one or more college-level courses.
  • Ability to employ multiple teaching strategies to create student-centered classrooms.
  • Demonstrated ability to incorporate technology into instructional and faculty responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population of faculty, staff, and students.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Wide range of coursework and/or teaching experience throughout the Biology subject area, especially General Biology or Anatomy and Physiology.
