Job Title: Materials Management Site Lead

Carilion Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Materials Management Site Lead to oversee the receipt, stocking, issuing, distribution, and shipping of supplies for our hospitals, companies, and services. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the receiving and posting of all stock and non-stock purchases to the centralized Materials Management computer system.
  • Assign, direct, and inspect staff duty assignments to ensure proper procedures are being practiced.
  • Participate in departmental activities, meetings, and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Materials Management Operations to develop and implement effective inventory control strategies.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required documentation, including inventory reports and supply chain analytics.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in a related field, such as business or supply chain management.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in inventory control or logistics.
  • Valid VA driver's license with a positive driving record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
