Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Manager in Training. As a key member of our sales and operations team, you will be responsible for learning and implementing our sales processes, managing inventory, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn and implement our sales processes to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
  • Manage inventory levels and maintain a clean and organized store appearance
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Participate in sales activities and promotions to achieve sales goals and bonuses
  • Operate technology-based Point of Sale and Product Look-up system to complete sales transactions
  • Install large and small batteries in various devices, including cellphones and tablets
  • Function as a team player and collaborate with colleagues to achieve store goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum H.S. diploma/equivalent; Advanced degree in business or retail management preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of retail management experience, preferably within a durable goods setting. Experience must include commercial (outside) sales
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Able to effectively manage confrontational situations in a controlled and courteous manner
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong technical aptitude; and a basic understanding of electronics. Must have the ability to accurately read gauges and work with hands
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business including peak seasons and special events

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

This position requires the associate to regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle or touch; frequently talk, hear, and lift up to 50 pounds; and occasionally sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach above shoulders, and lift more than 50 pounds.

The position requires the associate to regularly use electrical cables, simple hand tools, a magnifying glass, spot welders, automotive and electronic testing equipment, as well as regular use of a phone, fax, computer, and printer/copier.

While performing the responsibilities of this position, the associate will occasionally be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, and the risk of electrical shock.

Protective clothing and/or equipment used in this position includes goggles, gloves, and steel-toed shoes.
