Job Title: Licensed Caregiver - LPN

Join our team at Five Star Premier Residences of Pompano Beach, a beautiful community in Pompano Beach, FL, with more than 160 units offering independent living and assisted living.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality care to residents under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare professionals.
  • Assist residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Support residents with medication management.
  • Reposition residents in bed and escort them around the community.
  • Provide emotional support and serve as a source of comfort for residents and their loved ones.
  • Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and report to a supervisor.
  • Perform nursing assessments, including vital signs monitoring, physical examinations, and health status evaluations, to identify and address resident needs promptly.
  • Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as directed by the registered nurse or healthcare provider, following applicable state regulations, established protocols, and infection control practices.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must pass State and Company criminal background/drug screens.
  • Demonstrates effective time management skills.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted nursing license in the state.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Maintain CEU requirements.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
  • Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Interpret and implement written or oral policies, procedures, and instructions.
