City Manager Charleston

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced City Manager to join our team in Charleston, SC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring excellence and consistency in our local market operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, train, and supervise a team of drivers to ensure proper supply of driver capacity and meet customer delivery demand.
- Develop and implement ongoing development programs for drivers to improve delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor daily order flow and driver performance to identify areas for improvement and optimize market performance.
- Manage cost of service to strike a balance between service performance and operating margins.
- Collaborate with Client Success, Account Management, and Dispatch leadership to drive market operational performance.
- Partner with sales team members to assist with new client acquisition and in-person meetings with key decision-makers.
- Assume responsibility for client success, including customer ratings and net promoter scores.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to work independently and make good decisions with minimal direction.
- Clear and precise communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong leadership skills, with an ability to serve and direct team activities.
- Positive interpersonal skills, maintaining a positive attitude while working with individuals in different departments and in pressured situations.
- Analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, draw accurate conclusions, and make business recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to react quickly and work well in a dynamic environment.
