Job SummaryAs a Vascular Technologist Specialist at Pearl Medical, you will be responsible for performing vascular ultrasound exams, operating and maintaining equipment, and analyzing imaging data to ensure sufficient coverage of test areas. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work atmosphere, positioning patients properly, and developing and maintaining positive interpersonal relations with other department personnel. The ideal candidate will have experience managing outpatient surgical centers and be able to manage 2 centers simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform vascular ultrasound exams as prescribed by the physician
* Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment or machinery
* Analyze imaging data to ensure sufficient coverage of test areas
* Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work atmosphere
* Position patients properly
* Develop and maintain positive interpersonal relations with other department personnel
* Perform assessments on patients of various conditions and ages
* Record and maintain all records concerning the ultrasound exam
* Maintain quality levels that exceed or meet customer expectations and needs
* Utilize BCLS training to assist in patient care emergencies
* Maintain the Ultrasound equipment and perform testing and/or quality control procedures
* Archive images obtained during all cases
* Manage the proper ordering and storage of technical supplies
* Ensure compliance with state regulations regarding radiation safety
* Manage complex work environments
* Keep the Radiation Safety Manual up to date and in compliance with state rules
* Participate in the center's radiation safety team
* Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

* Experience managing outpatient surgical centers
* Ability to manage 2 centers simultaneously
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
