Job Summary: As the Housekeeping Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operational needs of our support services department. You will manage frontline staff and act as a key liaison between administration and various departments, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and regularly update standards and work procedures for all team members.
  • Plan and organize work schedules to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including interviewing and training new staff.
  • Orient and supervise all supervisory and housekeeping personnel.
  • Conduct routine inspections and provide recommendations for facility improvements.
  • Prepare monthly reports detailing goals, achievements, and future objectives.
  • Facilitate ongoing staff education and training programs.
  • Maintain effective communication with staff, administration, and other departments.
  • Coordinate external services such as pest control and waste management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in support services, military, housekeeping, or facilities maintenance.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Proficient in maintaining organization in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.
  • Demonstrated initiative, responsibility, and leadership capabilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of contract management and office procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
