Job Overview: We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Telemetry department at Haywood Regional Medical Center.

About the Role: As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring optimal outcomes for our diverse patient population. You will work in a dynamic environment utilizing advanced monitoring technology to deliver specialized care to patients primarily diagnosed with respiratory failure and cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, assessing patients' needs and developing individualized plans of care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and excellent patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program required
  • Current unencumbered Registered Nurse License in North Carolina or from a Compact State
  • AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
