Role Summary

  • Oversee essential and highly visible financial processes related to
  • Revenue generation and ensure precise financial reporting
  • Collaborate regularly with various departments, including Financial Systems, FP&A, Financial Reporting, Technical Accounting, Data Analytics, and Accounts Receivable to guarantee timely and accurate financial disclosures
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue accounting close cycle, along with daily revenue accounting functions
  • Ensure adherence to revenue accounting standards, procedures, and SOX regulations through thorough examination of journal entries, account reconciliations, key controls, and variance analysis
  • Play a pivotal role in our quarterly and annual review and audit processes, including managing critical deliverables for both internal and external auditors
  • Conduct research on atypical or complex revenue transactions to determine appropriate revenue accounting treatment and document key conclusions in compliance with ASC 606
  • Evaluate potential business changes for their impact and compliance with SOX objectives within your areas of responsibility
  • Responsible for identifying and executing process and system enhancements aimed at reducing the closing cycle time while improving team efficiency and scalability. Lead/support special projects as needed
