Job Overview

Position: Infrastructure Support Engineer - Japanese Bilingual

Role Summary:

  • Provide assistance with PC, server, and Azure solutions for clients.
  • Facilitate and support both internal and external clients with the installation, upgrades, configuration, troubleshooting, and ongoing usability of workstations (desktops/laptops), printers, peripheral devices, networking hardware, VPN, and software (both on-site and remotely).
  • Deliver in-person and remote support for employees regarding hardware, software inquiries, and network-related issues.
  • Oversee documentation related to servers and network infrastructure.
  • Create, manage, document, and update support tickets as necessary within the company’s ticketing system.
  • Escalate issues when resolution is not achievable.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Provide advanced technical support for Microsoft products (Windows 10, Office 2016, etc.).
  • Ensure the successful completion of all daily tasks, whether assigned externally or self-initiated.
  • Possess knowledge and experience with Azure services and virtual machines.
  • Develop and update system documentation, operational manuals, knowledge bases, and trouble history records.
  • Report directly to the supervisor.
Required Skills:
  • Fluency in English (Required), Japanese (Required).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in TCP/IP networking or equivalent knowledge (Required).
  • Experience in helpdesk support (Preferred).
  • Strong communication skills with clients, vendors, and company personnel.
  • Proficient documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Visio, Word, etc.).
  • Possession of a personal vehicle for client site visits.
  • Knowledge of Azure services (Desired).
  • MCSA/MCSE certification (Desired).
