Job Summary:

As a Speech Language Pathologist Level II, you will be responsible for providing assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. You will work closely with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers to gain confidence and cooperation through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
  • Work closely with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers to gain confidence and cooperation.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.
  • Assist with clinical supervision of assistants and aides, and serve as clinical instructor for assigned students.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in speech pathology from an accredited program.
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience.
  • SP-Licensed Speech Pathologist.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Critical thinking, complex problem-solving, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work in a demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities, complete work duties within expected timelines, and meet requirements.
  • Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.

Compensation takes into account several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, and certifications, department equity, training, and organizational needs.
