Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing individual, marital, family, and group psychotherapy. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive rate of pay, starting at $39 per hour, negotiable dependent upon experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provides individual, marital, family, and group psychotherapy as referred.
- Conducts psychosocial assessments and mental health intake assessments as needed.
- Maintains close liaison with other care providers, especially psychiatrists involved in patient treatment.
- Prepares initial assessments, treatment care plans, treatment care plan updates, daily notes, and discharge notes in a timely manner.
- Ensures patients are provided with relevant information about the PCMH program, including brochures that describe the values and goals of the program.
- Attends necessary in-service education programs.
- Means and ability to travel between Agency buildings.
- Maintains licensing status in NYS by completing 36 hours of continuing education (CE) from a NY Department-approved provider during each three-year registration period.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Master's Degree from an accredited School of Social Work in the United States.
- Minimum 2 year's clinical experience.
- NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
- Maintain licensing status in NYS by completing 36 hours of continuing education (CE) from a NY Department-approved provider during each three-year registration period.
This position is located at one of our 3 locations across Suffolk County, New York. The ideal candidate will have the ability to travel between Agency buildings.
