As a key member of our forecasting group, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in load forecasting, presenting recommendations to management and client organizations, and developing strategies to improve forecast accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced statistical models to forecast energy demand and revenue.
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends and patterns in energy consumption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement demand-side management programs.
  • Communicate complex forecasting results to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in load forecasting and demand-side management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in load forecasting, energy demand analysis, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proficient in statistical software packages such as SAS, STATA, and R.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with manipulating large datasets and developing data-driven insights.
  • Knowledge of business planning and forecasting concepts, practices, and techniques.
