We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Tech - Float to join our team at UW Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using a wide variety of radiographic equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging procedures on patients of all ages using radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers.
  • Troubleshoot basic maintenance issues and participate in quality assurance (QA) activities to ensure high-quality images.
  • Learn and adhere to established protocols, QA guidelines, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and patient safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care and ensure seamless communication.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Minimum - Previous healthcare experience.
  • Preferred - Two (2) years clinical experience.
  • Certification by appropriate body (ARRT) and valid Wisconsin Radiological License.
  • CPR certification required within three months of hire.
  • If Bone Mineral Densitometry is part of the hired role, Bone Mineral Densitometry certification within 30 months of hire.
