Senior Information Security Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Analyst to join our team at Lippert Components. As a Senior Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's information assets by proactively identifying, analyzing, and responding to security threats and vulnerabilities.
This role requires advanced technical expertise, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with various teams to ensure a strong and resilient security posture.
You will also provide guidance and mentorship to junior security team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze security events, logs, and alerts from various sources, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, and SIEM tools.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, working closely with other security teams and stakeholders to ensure timely and effective resolution.
- Conduct regular security assessments, and audits, to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to define security requirements and develop effective solutions that protect critical assets and data.
- Design, implement, and maintain security controls, processes, and technologies to prevent, detect, and respond to threats and vulnerabilities.
- Evaluate and recommend security solutions, including hardware, software, and services, to enhance the organization's security capabilities.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and standards.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of emerging security threats, industry trends, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve the organization's security posture.
- Provide expert guidance on the integration of security controls into the organization's infrastructure, applications, and processes.
- Mentor and support junior security team members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field or equivalent years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- CySA+, Security+, or CEH certification.
