LTTS is seeking a highly skilled Automation Specialist to join our team. As an Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for translating user requirements into functional design and technical concepts, providing advanced technical solutions, and leading teams through the process.
Key Responsibilities:- Translate user requirements into functional design and technical concepts
- Provide advanced technical solutions and lead teams through the process
- Demonstrate creativity and ingenuity in applying engineering principles and practices
- Devise innovative solutions to existing manufacturing problems
- Apply working knowledge of product design and assembly to the manufacturing process
- Conduct plant assessments and understand customer requirements and define DOU/SOW
- Support in preparing RFQ/RFIs to vendors and evaluate vendor quotes
- Support in preparing proposals to customers and play a role in winning projects
- Coordinate offshore and vendor teams based on project requirements
- Support Project Status Reviews and Senior Management Reviews
- Responsible for customer satisfaction and future engagement with customers
- Travel across multiple locations
- Project Management Skills & End-to-end Automation project execution experience
- Project estimation & Proposal preparation
- Customer Management
- Vendor Management & RFQ to Vendors
- Offshore coordination
- Plant assessments
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Business development skills and coordination with sales
- Manufacturing Automation experience
- Experience in custom engineered solution businesses as well as factory automation is ideal
- Experience in developing system integration solutions for assembly line automation projects
- Strong Fundamental knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and control automation
- Good understanding of the automation ecosystem
- Automation high-level concept preparation
- Automation ROM & BOM high-level estimation
- Low-cost automation, Fixture design, SPM & Testing machine knowledge
- Robotics/Collaborative robot Automation
- Process Automation
- Assembly, Pick & place, Vision and Inspection automation
- Industry experience - Truck & Off Highway Manufacturing. (Any other industry will be an added advantage)
- Knowledge of Operation technology communication protocols
- Automation Cell integration experience (Robotics/Pneumatic/PLC/Safety etc.)
- Integration experience in robotics and linear motion systems
- Competent in performing value stream mapping and leading lean manufacturing initiatives
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
