- Hourly wage: $19.39

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a vital member of the custodial team, you will report directly to the Custodial Foreman and be responsible for the following tasks:
- Sweeping and mopping of hallways, offices, and staircases.
- Waxing and buffing floors using appropriate equipment.
- Stripping and waxing floors as needed.
- Shampooing carpets and rugs.
- Performing high dusting and cleaning in various areas.
- Executing general cleaning tasks such as trash disposal, recycling, low dusting, glass cleaning, vacuuming, wall washing, spot cleaning, and restroom sanitation.
- Mixing cleaning solutions as required.
- Maintaining all issued cleaning equipment.
- Informing the supervisor when supplies and equipment are needed.
- Carrying out any additional duties assigned by the Custodial Foreman.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Under the guidance of the Custodial Foreman, you will perform necessary cleaning tasks to meet custodial contract specifications.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The incumbent must be capable of standing for 80% of the work duration, walking for 15%, and sitting for 5%. The ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull similar weight is essential for managing cleaning tasks and handling supplies. Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling are also required for effective cleaning in various environments. Communication with supervisors and co-workers is necessary, along with the ability to see, perceive depth, and distinguish colors for safety and chemical identification.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must possess a minimum of three years of cleaning experience, with at least one year focused on floor care. Successful completion of medical examinations is required, along with the ability to pass security clearance for designated contracts.
