At Countrymark Refining and Logistics, we are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Compliance Specialist - LDAR Operations to join our team. As a key member of our environmental department, you will play a critical role in ensuring our company's facilities comply with Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) and associated EPA regulations.

Job Summary:

The Environmental Compliance Specialist - LDAR Operations will be responsible for managing regulatory compliance programs and providing technical guidance to various departments. This includes monitoring Cooling Towers using the El Paso Stripper Method, monitoring components in the LDAR Program using Method 21, and conducting Fence Line Monitoring Sampling Events (FLM).

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in LDAR operations and/or maintenance, and a strong knowledge of LDAR operations and regulatory requirements. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor Cooling Towers using the El Paso Stripper Method
  2. Monitor components in the LDAR Program using Method 21
  3. Conduct Fence Line Monitoring Sampling Events (FLM)
  4. Conduct QQQ Inspections
  5. Prepare reports on inspections
  6. Notify Air Manager of any deviations from requirements
  7. Maintain/Troubleshoot/Repair monitoring equipment
  8. Establish Work Orders as needed
  9. Coordinate repairs of identified systems with Maintenance Shop
  10. Maintain New and Existing Tags
  11. Add/Remove Components (Assist with MOCs)
  12. Assist with Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi Annual, and Annual Monitoring Schedules
  13. Review and Certify Monitoring/Repair Data
  14. Maintain Documents and Files
  15. Assist Operations and Maintenance with Leak Detection Activities
  16. Obtain/maintain Method 9 certification

Secondary Responsibilities:

  1. Provide assistance in completing air reports
  2. Provide assistance within the Environmental Department as needed

Requirements:

Education: High School diploma required. Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field is preferred. Will substitute experience in lieu of education for the ideal candidate.

Experience: 1-3 years experience in LDAR operations and/or maintenance required.

Licenses, Certifications or Registrations: Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC). NACE PCIM Technologist, API 1169.

Benefits:
