Pharmacy Technician II Role

As a Certified Pharmacy Technician at Hannaford Supermarkets, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting the pharmacy team. Your responsibilities will include filling prescriptions, assisting customers, and working alongside pharmacists to process prescriptions and provide expert knowledge and experience.
Key Responsibilities
• Personalize the customer experience by using your skills and product knowledge to problem solve and offer solutions that meet or exceed customers' expectations.
• Assist pharmacists with filling and processing prescriptions, while learning from and leaning on their expert knowledge and experience.
• Support the pharmacy by performing clerical functions such as filling, organizing, etc.
• Adapt to changing situations and priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
Requirements
• Current national certification with up to date CE requirements.
• Strong communication, customer service, and time-management skills.
• High levels of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Effective interpersonal skills and desire to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must meet minimum age and educational requirements.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
