The Facility Operations Coordinator at Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk Veterinary Teaching Center plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing various operational aspects of the facility. This includes coordinating special events, managing daily operations, handling veterinary software systems, conducting facility tours, and performing other administrative tasks essential for smooth functioning.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience in an office environment
  • Some higher education coursework
  • Background in animal-related fields

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to faculty, staff, students, and the broader community
  • Foster positive working relationships among faculty, staff, and students
  • Engage in university committees and initiatives
  • Ensure the security and confidentiality of university records and adhere to privacy protocols
  • Maintain comprehensive records and procedures related to job responsibilities
  • Prepare necessary reports for institutional and program accreditation, supporting the advancement of university programs
  • Provide administrative support as needed
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars
  • Conduct facility tours for visitors
  • Operate office equipment, including computers and copy machines

  • Direct visitors to the appropriate departments or personnel

  • Ensure proper setup of rooms for events
  • Assist with mail distribution and special projects
  • Maintain HR and student services communication boards
  • Support other administrative staff with overflow tasks and phone coverage
  • Assist the Exam Services Department with exam administration for the DVM program
  • Keep the DVTC Handbook updated
  • Manage the DVTC Pathway Teamsite
  • Support various initiatives under the LMU-CVM Operations Department
  • Oversee student locker assignments
  • Arrange catering for meetings
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, security, and maintenance for event logistics
  • Liaise with university legal services regarding contracts and agreements
  • Assist in scheduling clinical appointments for senior students
  • Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within the CVM community
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
