About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at The Craftsman Wood Grille & Tap House. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook food to order, using a variety of cooking techniques including grilling, broiling, sautéing, and frying.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth service and high-quality food.
- Recognize and adhere to quality requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products.
- Establish a system of food stations and stock them with all necessary ingredients for the shift.

Requirements

- Strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members.
- Previous experience working in food service is preferred.
- Possesses a strong work ethic and high attention to detail.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification.
