Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Sutter Health.

Job Summary:

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Your primary responsibilities will include administering medications, performing various medical procedures, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care to patients, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Perform various medical procedures, such as phlebotomy, ECGs, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing.
  • Current LVN licensure in the state of California.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
