The OpportunityWe're looking for a seasoned HR professional to lead our People Operations team and drive the development of a world-class, collaborative, analytical, and people-centric HR operations function. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service, experiences, and solutions to our Krakenites through our Service Desk, General HR team, and Onboarding team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of exceptional HR Operations talent and serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on global HR operations and key initiatives.
- Analyze, propose, drive, and iterate on our global workforce strategy in line with company priorities.
- Own, enhance, and manage best-in-class processes and practices that adhere to globally compliant standards.
- Develop procedures to mitigate risks and ensure data integrity and security.
- Drive HR Ops projects and initiatives to ensure streamlined operations and insightful people data.
- Partner with Security, Finance, Compliance, and Legal to create compliant HR processes and adherence to policies and practices globally.
- 10+ years of human resources experience with at least 5 years overseeing people operations, ideally at a technology company, startup, or high-growth company with globally distributed, work-from-home teams and international offices.
- Experience scaling a global HR Operations department is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of state, federal, and international employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional ability to manage multiple critical priorities and projects while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude.
- Highly adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and ambiguous environment.
- Flexible, open-minded, and innovative in developing and maintaining HR protocols.
- Deep commitment to enhancing the 'people experience' in all aspects of HR.
- Highly tech-savvy with a strong appreciation for privacy, security, and crypto values.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of effective team management.
