Pharmacy Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at G & R Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and verify written and faxed prescriptions from patients and doctor's offices, inputting the information into our system as needed.
  • Maintain proper storage and inventory of all medications in the pharmacy, ensuring accurate logging and tracking.
  • Receive and verify incoming inventory, logging it within the system and putting it away as needed.
  • Maintain accurate pharmacy records, including patient profiles, inventory logs, and other essential documents.
  • Accept payment for prescriptions and small transactions, providing excellent customer service and handling customer inquiries.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and inventory.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy and medical terminology is desired, but not required.
