Job Overview

G & R Pharmacy is seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Processing: Receive and verify written and faxed prescriptions from patients and healthcare providers, accurately inputting the information into our system.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain proper storage and inventory of all medications, receiving and verifying incoming shipments, and logging them within our system.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, answering phone calls and responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Payment Processing: Accept payment for prescriptions and small transactions, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date pharmacy records, including patient profiles, inventory logs, and other relevant information.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues.
  • Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Pharmacy Knowledge: Have a basic understanding of pharmacy and medical terminology, with the ability to learn and apply new knowledge as needed.
